No Hot Ashes release video for ” Extra-Terrestrial ” ahead of Friday’s debut album release

With their debut album ‘Hardship Starship’ ready to drop this Friday ( Aug 16th ) NO HOT ASHES have released a playful new video for Extra-Terrestrial.

Directed by videographer Sam Crowston, the new video finds the band looking pretty in pink as they perform their out-of-this-world new single at a studio in Manchester. In line with the band’s sci-fi themed new album, the video also sees frontman Isaac Taylor bringing a whole new school of thought to the theory of a “doughnut-shaped” universe in its closing moments…

Inspired by the feeling of finding that special person you would cross galaxies for, ‘Extra-Terrestrial’ is the anthemic new single from Stockport’s fastest and finest emerging band of 2019.

Speaking about the track, No Hot Ashes say:Extra Terrestrial Is a song about relationships and knowing someone better than you know yourself. The constant fat bass lines matched with shouty choruses implore you to move. We were trying for something catchy with this one.”

‘Hardship Starship’ was produced by Chris Taylor (The Coral, Everything Everything, Ian Brown,  Bill Ryder Jones) at Parr Street studios in Liverpool whom the band met in early 2018 whilst in the thick of demos and writing for the upcoming debut album, they formed an instant connection with Chris which can be felt throughout the whole record.

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
