Song Of The Day: ” Juniper ” by GRDNS

Heavily influenced by Tame Impala and Humbug-era Arctic Monkeys, Bradford UK’s GRDNS have released Juniper, the second cut from their upcoming Ep due out later this year.

Discussing the release, frontman Jacob Lyons stated:

Juniper takes influence from both the modern and vintage surf sounds with a prog/alt section at the end but doesn’t particularly sound like either. It was the first song we got together as a full band and the lyrics frequently reference the color blue and a few of its color palette relatives. The meaning of the song is open to interpretation, like all the rest will be”.

Rich in vocals and instrumentation, the song is breezy and percussion-soaked, the perfect song to soundtrack your lazy Spring Break vacay!

About Teri (1927 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
