Our favorite UK post-punk rockers, False Heads have just released a new video for their single Help Yourself. The song is taken from their debut EP, Less Is Better, which was released back in September on These Bloody Thieves Records.
Help Yourself is a bit of a slow down from the usual songs you hear from False-Heads, but don’t fret, it is far from a boring ballad, it is still full of their trademark blaring guitar licks and throbbing drum beats, the guitar solo towards the end will have the blood pulsing through your veins quickly, and leadman Luke Griffith’s vocals take a Come As You Are sound to the during the chorus.
The accompanying video shows the bands fun side in a split video. One side gives us a look at the band playing live and the energy they seem to feed on during shows. The other side, showered in red light has them under a bed? playing with a variety of toys, along with their drumsticks and a toothbrush microphone.
False Heads are one of our UK bands to pay attention to, and we are still standing by our statement of greatness, with support from Iggy Pop, to Danny Fields ( ex Ramones manager ) saying they are the best live band in the world, to the many fans they have been collecting during their wild stage shows, this band is destined for bigger things.
