The Statistics drop New Single “Maryanne”

Indie rock duo The Statistics is thrilled to share “Maryanne,” the latest track from the band’s forthcoming album, The Robson Street Hymns. which is set to release September 6th and is produced by Elisa Pansaeng.

Speaking about the new single Darby Yule shares:I started writing Maryanne after looking around at relationships in our hometown. There’s always this split between planting roots and trying to move onto bigger and better things. I decided that I was going to create a story about that point in which you’ve moved onto bigger and better things but you still recognize the good things in your earlier life. It’s about two people who break up because they needed more but they still miss their old relationship with each other..

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
