The Wild Feathers, composed of Joel King, Ricky Young, Taylor Burns, and Ben Dumas, come to us from Nashville, Tennessee. They have two studio albums under their belt – 2013’s self-titled Wild Feathers and Lonely is a Lifetime, released in March of this year. Help Me Out, directed by Gus Black and filmed at El Cosmico, a twenty-one acre eclectic hotel and campground, showcases the band’s great harmonies and sound. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, guitarist/vocalist Rick describes the song as ” “sharing all the stuff we share as friends, brothers and bandmates. Everything we go through, we go through together, whether it’s a 15-hour flight or a 20-hour drive or a 90-minute show. It’s a call to your friends to help you out.” We really like their sound and you can watch Help Me Out here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-G2mGksiCZQ
The Wild Feathers will be heading out on tour this weekend as openers for Band of Horses. This billing promises to be a great show, catch them if they’re in your area.
