They Came From A Land Down Under..featuring ZSUZSIKA LENCSES, Bootleg Rascal, Home By July, and Teischa

Zsuzsika continues to inspire us with her third singe Gonna Be Alright which features Jacob Smooth. This is the third single that furthers conversation around resilience and inspiration. The singer, like many of us, truly believes that music has the power to heal, and it is her strong belief in that and her inspiring lyrics that make us fans. If you are looking for a mood booster today, or any other day, Gonna Be Alright is the song for you.

Bootleg Rascal ” Tryin To Run “

Oh that guitar riff….its one of the reasons we love Australia’s party outfit Bootleg Rascal’s new single Tryin To Run. The single is from their new double A-side release ‘Yin & Yang’ – produced by the band themselves, long-time collaborator Ian Pritchett. The double side also includes Get Over Myself, and the songs like the Yin & Yang suggest are complete opposites of each other. Trying to Run is funky and fun, a great summer song to blast loud.

Home By July ” Get Better, Whatever “

You know it doesn’t matter what time of music we cover here, our hearts are always ingrained in Pop Punk, so we couldn’t resist Home By July and their new single Get Better, Whatever. The song is about looking back on a time when you felt invincible. Summers were longer, friendships meant everything and the love was real. It just screams summer to us, with the jangly guitars, the hazy vocals and of course the subject. Look for a debut EP to be released sometime later this year.

Teischa ” Hotel Pool “

Teischa’s fourth single ” Hotel Pool was “ kind of a diary entry to myself about my first impressions of LA. I wrote it after a brutally hot summer day out at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood (which is definitely not my vibe), as I was sitting poolside people watching and creating this little love story in my head about the contrasts of the city. ” The song, which is beautifully made, highlights Tesicha’s amazing vocals over a soft array of instrumentation, leading us into a hazy dreamy world.

About Teri (2931 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
