Watch: Hawthorne Heights Drop New Video For Single ” Crimson Sand “

Right before kicking off their new tour with Silverstein, Hawthorne Heights has blessed us with a new video for their single Crimson Sand, which was taken from their latest album, Bad Frequencies. The album is out now on Pure Noise Records.

The video for Crimson Sand bounces back and forth between the band performing live and scenes of a beach and ocean where a girl finds a boombox, we imagine filled with Hawthorne Heights songs!

“We wanted the video for “Crimson Sand” to match the frenetic, yet somber intensity of the music, all while being tied to our video for Just Another Ghost. We looked at it as a companion piece, that follows the inner struggles of our main character as she moves through a different set of emotions during “Crimson Sand.” Instead of an all out anxiety attack, this focuses more on a kind of depression that saps all of your positivity and motivation.  We are in a beautiful setting, but nothing seems to snap her out of what she’s going through, and the ghost has her again.  Soon, she finds the perfect song to move her into a better outlook.  This was one of the tracks that were the most fun to record, and we really focused on capturing the energy. We can’t wait to play it live for the first time on our upcoming tour with Silverstein.” – JT Woodruff (vocals/guitar)

About Teri (2530 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
