We are all over the globe today featuring tunes by ( G )I-dle, Micky James, Titi-Woo and GG Magree

(G)I-dle ” Dumbi Dumbi “

Throwing a little K-pop your way today with the new single Dumbi Dumbi by (G)I-idle who has received a 2020 MTV VMA nomination for Best K pop, the show will be air August 30th. While I can’t understand anything they are singing unless I read the script at the bottom of the video, the song has an addicting beat and I image a singable chorus for those well versed in Korean. It will definitely lift your spirits!

Micky James ” Kings “

New York’s Micky James has taken his love for Brit-pop, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones and turned it into fresh music with a retro feel. In new single King, he takes on the relationship of the American government with its people. Fuzzy and spiky guitar riffs, driving bass lines and a sing-a-long chorus makes this King worthy of a spot on your playlist.

Titi Woo ” Where Are You

Titi Woo is the moniker of St Petersburg Russia’s indie-pop musician Jody. Influenced heavily by Placebo, he and his twin brother David wrote and recorded music, until David became terminally ill. Jody has now begun to take the music they wrote together and polish it up for release. Where Are You is their second single, it features striking harmonies, that seem to blend so effortlessly they blend into a single sound, jangly guitars and heartfelt lyrics.

GG Magree ” Nervous Habits “

Australian triple threat  DJ, producer, and singer/songwriter GG Magree has teamed up with Joey Fleming of LAs punk band In Her Own Words to record new single Nervous Habits. Flemings angsty vocals play easily off of Magreessugar sweet ones as they sing about a love you can not give up. The companion video matches the darkness of the song, making it a winning combo.

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
