Weird Milk release Is That Love?

One of the reasons I am ticking off the days on my calendar until SXSW is so I can finally see Weird Milk perform live, they are one of the few bands that have made it on my ” most wanted list ” of SXSW due to their unique sound ( it will be published soon, think of this as a sneak peek )

The West London indie band has released a new single ahead of their fly over titled Is That Love? The single is a study in the past, with lead vocalist Zach Campbell giving us a Beatlesque like performance, backed up by vocals and instrumentation that could easily find themselves on Sgt. Peppers, showing their talent for taking something vintage sounding and turning it into a fresh new sound.

Discussing their newest offering, songwriter and drummer Charlie Glover-Wright explained:

“The song itself is about a relationship turning sour as a lemon and the main character realizing that they don’t need it anymore and they’ll be better off on their own”.

About Teri (2199 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
