Laur Elle ” Just So You Know “

Laur Elle began writing poetry as an angsty teen, but she took it a bit further and picked up a guitar falling in love with songwriting. But it took her a few more years, graduating Uni with a teaching degree, and hating teaching. It was then she turned back to her songwriting.

Her new single Just So You Know was written after she hit a very very low spot in a relationship. It shines a light on toxic relationships and shifts the focus to a place of strength.

Tess Posner ” The Mask “

Tess Posner began singing in coffee-houses as a teenager and continued as a passion throughout her ten years as an activist. When she returned to her passion for music, those experiences transformed into her music, writing lyrics that deal with trauma and empowerment.

For her new single The Mask, she teamed up with  Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Sal Oliveri (whose produced artists including Pink, Chris Martin (of Coldplay) Carrie Underwood, Ryan Tedder (One Republic)) and she tracked vocals at the historic Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco. The song deals with contemplating a longing for authenticity, and the fears and realities that hold us back from living out loud as our full selves.

Riley Whittaker ” Knew You Would “

Singer-Songwriter Riley Whittaker is only 14 years old, yet she has the voice of someone who is much more mature. She has just released a single titled Knew You Would, which showcases her strong raspy voice. Not only does she play the guitar, which you can hear in the background of Knew You Would, but also the piano, violin, and ukulele. Keep your eye on her, I am sure we will be hearing more from her in the future.

Jessica Ray ” You Who ( You Through )

Memphis TN’s Jessica Ray has been singing and dancing all her life, and while she has appeared on a few TV shows such as  BET’s 106TH and Park in New York City, music is the first love in her life. She also finds joy in giving back with her music, in 2014 she held a benefit concert for The Exceptional Foundation who caters to people with intellectual disabilities by meeting there social, recreation and continued educational needs.

New single You Who ( You Through ) sees her back in the studio excited to be making music again. You Who and the accompanying video is a sultry story that showcases the range of Ray’s vocals.

Elliot Lee ” Upside Down “

Brooklyn based artist Elliot Lee fuses dark pop melodies with edgy vocals and innovative electronic soundscapes to create an unpredictable sound. Elliot Lee’s music focuses on the concept of overthinking and how it can severely impact one’s ability to cope with life and its obstacles. New single Upside Down is about feeling like you are at the bottom of the world, always in the worst headspace and always running into obstacles in the path toward a fulfilling life, and wishing it could all be the exact opposite

Upside Down is an upbeat and uplifting song that empowers while treating the listener to a strong matter of fact vocals, a seductive beat provided by drums and electronics along with authentic and honest lyrics.
